Feeling blah and want to feel better fast? Take a quick assessment of these regular positive activities. Keep track in your head or on your fingers, or download the Feel Better Fast worksheet from the Karl Bimshas Consulting website.
To make it simple, keep track of which of these you do most and least.
- How often do you get “enough” sleep?
- How often do you act optimistically?
- How often do you spend time in nature?
- How often do you exercise?
- How often do you spend time with your family and friends?
- How often do you express your gratitude?
- How often do you challenge yourself?
- How often do you meditate, pray and/or reflect?
- How often do you laugh?
- How often do you appropriately hug and touch people?
Now, take your two highest and lowest scores and think of ways to maintain or improve them.
For your top two strengths; What can you do to maintain your behavior? What will you do and by when?
For your bottom two challenges; What can you do to improve your behavior? What will you do and by when?
Take action. Taking action is the quickest way yo feel better fast.
